RESUMO
In this article the author presents the theoretical concepts of quality of life, labor satisfaction, and service professions. Then describes the politic-institution characteristics of the actual national context in which the professionals that work in the Health field, developed their daily work. Presents a proposal of indicators, specially constructed by the author to analyze the labor context, that are being used in different research projects she developed since the beginning on XXI century. Finally presents the necessity of generate project that considers protagonist points of view and allow the construct of diagnosis of the situation, that generate public policies to answer the problem.

En este artículo se reflexiona acerca de los conceptos teóricos calidad de vida, satisfacción laboral y profesiones de servicio, para luego describir las características del contexto político-institucional nacional actual en el cual desarrollan su actividad laboral cotidiana los profesionales dedicados al campo de la salud. Concluye presentando una propuesta de indicadores construidos especialmente por la autora para analizar el contexto laboral, que han sido utilizados en investigaciones que ha venido desarrollando desde el inicio de esta década. Deja finalmente planteada la necesidad de avanzar en investigaciones en el tema, que tengan en cuenta la mirada de los protagonistas y que permitan generar diagnósticos situacionales que a su vez sean generadores de políticas públicas, que den respuesta al problema planteado.
